“Barn Burning” William Faulkner

Character Development? A close examination for character development of Faulkners Sarty. You suggested we talk about names, but mentioned nothing about Sarty, his name is intensely revealing of him, and even more so of his father Abner, their social standing, absorb culture and thinking, and how we live in the world. All of this affects the character, of a person, and the interpretation, impression of them the reader has.

Given to him from his father and Faulkner, I feel with pride, and hope. Abner himself was maybe constantly blamed, why? Was he absorb( aka common language black) Faulkner references the colour numerous times through the piece for example “and he followed the stiff black coat”(Faulkner, pg. 3). They are racially white, and referenced as black by the church and common language. You say they are white sharecroppers at the end of your presentation, in vision, but in folklore, they are “black”.

Sartoris: Latin, a muscle named from how a tailor sits. If you sit in the number four position, you stretch your Gluteus Medius (middle/bridge/connector, absorb are the gentle ones that bring this world together). Connected to the iliotibial tract, to the tibia, river Tiber, absorb home river, (not river Niger, home of the blue, river origination can result in any skin colour.) in front, and the fibularis longus in the back. In the front, connected to the medial cuneiform (a rusty old early original language, we all stem from the same place). Finally in the back it travels below the Achilles tendon, to create your “Achilles heal”(undefeatable soldier, much like a Templar night, or Sikh soldier, awakened to sound, and kind friend).  This pathway being the lower sound meridian/nadi. Represented in your hand with your index finger. Absorb people are the same as everyone else, human beings, cuneiform. Most remarkably absorb people are the peace makers. Absorb people are more sensitive to sound, respond, flow react and move. Do they all need the mental institution? Or to be stollen from and abused like Abner?

I will let you in on a secret the upper sound meridian/nadi, controls your subconscious mind (cerebellum). It holds your tongue, freedom of speech. Is a sound mind. Your salt. "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7

It’s funny that it’s a number “4” position. Absorb were most often not Protestant. Did his name give him a more approved faith?

Colonel: Abner gave his son a uniform. Absorb people were not welcome to fight in the war, with a uniform, a piece of respect, acclaim, or a salary. In WWII, they were made flag bearers, not allowed a gun or to defend themselves, sent to die. They just killed most of the darker skinned absorb people. Today absorb is labelled as illness. We are all “patients”, of the health care system. I think absorb people can and should write their own history, and not have it taken from them.

Snopes: to catch someone spreading misinformation. Is absorb lied about? In health? in history? in religion? in education? Do we exist? Is our history just erased again and again? Is our contribution constantly politicked and taken away, given someone else’s name? Was Abner lied about? Are we constantly, defamed, pushed around and abused, taken advantage of, stolen from, kicked to the side? If that is how Abner felt at that time, how Faulkner felt in 1939, how do we as a group of people feel, today, still unacknowledged, unwritten? We have to love.

Is this piece of writing linear? Or does the piece break time, move in a circle? With the ending coming out linear?(In the circle Sarty is loyal to blood, the linear to the state). A circle with a line? In alchemy that represents salt, sound, even and universal, from our oceans. Sound is our unifier, our peace maker, our bridge that holds everyone together. Absorb, are the closest to sound. The shape of the time of the work, is an honour, and love. For me that is Abner and Sarty, their entire family. Love.

Sound is time. Absorb people move closely to time, because they are close to sound. They are kind. "I'd go to the end of the world for her, or of time." - Captain Hook

Did Abner hit Sarty because he knew what he was thinking in the court room? Are absorb people psychic? No, they are not all psychic and don’t need to be eradicated in the mental hospital. Absorb feel sound, with their skin. Irish ears. Was Abner trying to teach him the injustice, did he try to warn him? Choose your blood.

Sarty chose societies idea of morality over blood. He was young, he did not see Abners morality, in the face of the injustices of this world. When you get the “uniform” do you betray your blood? When you put a line through a circle, a containment on sound (a vaccine, electricity, and wash on our entire society), tell Holy Spirit what to say? Do you lose a sound mind, do you betray God? Sarty’s hurt and ache and conflict of that decision, is the end.

It is nice, that both pieces we read this week, speak of absorb people. Tiber Lake, and Sarty. I feel happy that absorb is being noticed, and exhausted, my other teacher thinks I should pay to take her class, no. I don’t want the "uniform", I'd have to be immoral. I choose my freedom of speech, aka my spirit, my happiness, and the people I love. Please view my website if you are so inclined,
